Welcome to New Beginnings Family Services

Where do I even begin with how blessed I was to come and learn and be a part of the launch of New Beginnings. Prior to my first encounter with New Beginnings, I had just left my first court date. With no warning or way to prepare my oldest was taken away from me and I was not even able to say goodbye. I was left with more questions than answers and only instructed to contact a program called Gardner in regards to setting up supervised visits with my oldest. I can not tell you how many times I called and left messages for trying to move forward and follow court orders. Weeks started to go by and I had no visitation with my oldest. Then I heard of New Beginnings. I attended what happened to be the very first meeting for the class. I came with an open mind and no clue of what I was really getting into. I barely heard Jennifer start to speak and there were so many points I could relate to her within her own personal experience that I was balling my eyes out. Still broken within from what my own personal life was at that moment and partial relief to know that I was not alone going through this. I was not being judged in anyway and I felt safe actually for the first time in a room full of strangers. By the end of my first meeting I came to meet April, Jennifer, and Dion. Who all created this New Beginnings. I couldn't wait to return to the second meeting the following week. And when I did return they welcome me with even bigger arms. They actually care and had interest in what I accomplished since the week prior. When they learned I still had no luck with Gardner they immediately set me up with supervised visitation that met the requirements of the court and I was also able to receive counseling Services. I can not express how blessed I still am to have this in my life. They surely go above and beyond to guide and show the way. You are never alone. If you even need just support, someone to sit with you at court, they are there. I will be honest and say to anyone reading this, you get out what you put into this program and yourself.
